The Brief
The Senior Showcase for the Penn State Graphic Design program is an annual celebration of the creativity, dedication, and innovation of fourth-year students. Featuring work from the past three years. Each student is given an individual booth to present their work, providing a platform to share their creative process, design philosophy, and future aspirations. Through immersive experiential design, the event creates an engaging and memorable environment that reflects the unique spirit and personality of the graduating class.
The Process
Point of View invites the Penn State community and beyond to see design through our eyes and recognize that “we’re more than you think.” This exhibition challenges the misconception that graphic designers are limited to making logos or posters—in reality, we are innovators, problem-solvers, and entrepreneurs shaping industries in unexpected ways. Rooted in the dynamic and eclectic personality of the Class of 2025, Point of View defies expectations and redefines what it means to be a designer today.
Through branding, photography, videography, social media marketing, and experiential design, we create an immersive experience that both inspires and educates. By showcasing our work and process, we highlight the profound impact design has on the world around us, proving that it is not just about aesthetics but about storytelling, strategy, and influence.
