The Brief

The Evanisko Project is a collaboration with the Penn State University Libraries and the Department of Graphic Design to feature student artwork in a prominent public place. Through the theme of "Connections", the project aims to foster connections amongst students and the Penn State community.

The Process

The design process involved extensive research on cultural perceptions, interviewing university researchers who specialize in cultural anthropology, data visualization researchers, and DEI representatives. The findings were used to design an interactive exhibit showcasing cultural stories that connects students.
As part of this initiative, students will design and develop an interactive display for the Pattee and Paterno Library, set to be showcased in the Fall Semester. The project includes creating a comprehensive exhibition plan, developing mockups for stakeholder presentations, preparing a detailed budget and marketing plan for review by library staff and external partners.
